Conference on Empirical Legal Studies 2010

The Conference on Empirical Legal Studies 2010 will be held in New Haven, Connecticut at Yale Law School from Friday November 5 through Saturday November 6, 2010. The conference is the annual conference of the Society for Empirical Legal Studies, an international organization whose members are interested in empirical and experimental research related to law. There will be multiple panel sessions throughout each day, and each paper presentation will be followed by discussion. In addition to the paper sessions, there will be a poster session and quantitative methods sessions.  The keynote speaker over dinner on Friday, November 5 will be Orley Ashenfelter, Joseph Douglas Green 1895 Professor of Economics at Princeton University.

Paper submissions closed on Friday, July 16, 2010.  We expect to send acceptance notices on September 1, 2010.  As has been the case in the past, there will be a program to help defray the cost of attending for presenters travelling from schools without budgets to cover conference expenses.  Applications will be taken in September, following the receipt of acceptance notices.
