By choosing the Employment tab, you can access the Federal Law Clerk Information System, a searchable database of law clerk hiring information for federal judges. Only the judges' chambers can post information, and it can be modified or updated instantaneously, as often as the judge deems necessary. Potential applicants can search by court, and can refine their searches for starting dates, specific judges, or clerkship term. The site also contains information on the duties of law clerks, salary, and benefits. Also, under the Employment tab, you will find a link to the D.C. Circuit's web page devoted to information on the new law clerk hiring plan.
Federal Judiciary Library Online
This online directory contains the full text of the Almanac of the Federal Judiciary, which includes biographical data, descriptions of noteworthy rulings, and anonymous lawyers' evaluations. It also includes Senate Biographical Questionnaires and Financial Disclosure Reports for federal judges. Users of YLS computers or Yale VPN do not need a password to access the database.
