Yale Wins Award at the Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot
Yale Law School achieved team honors for the first time in the Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot. This was only the third time that Yale has sent a team to this competition, which, over the years, has grown into one of the world's largest and most prestigious moot competitions. In this year's nineteenth edition of the competition, 281 teams from law schools around the world competed.
Despite being one of the few teams without a formal moot coach, Yale was awarded an Honorable Mention in the Werner Melis Award for best respondent's memorandum.
The Yale team comprised of Christopher Decoro '12, Nathaniel Khng LLM '12, Romain Zamour '13, William Sullivan '13, Elizabeth Song '14 and Alisa Shekhtman '14.
