Interview Programs
CDO hosts and co-sponsors the following events and opportunities:
- The largest annual event, the Fall Interview Program (FIP), brings private sector and public interest employers to New Haven to interview upper class students. The Spring Interview Program (SIP), a smaller-scale program, is aimed primarily at first-year students. Students and employers utilize the Career Management System (see related links at right) to participate.
- CDO also co-sponsors the Equal Justice Works (EJW) Public Interest Career Fair every October in Washington, DC, as well as the Public Interest and Public Service Legal Career Symposium in February held at New York University Law School. Students attending the fairs can be reimbursed for their travel expenses. Contact Robyn Acampora at robyn.acampora@yale.edu or 432-7224 for more information about these fairs.
- Additionally, LL.M. students have the opportunity to meet with hundreds of legal employers from the U.S. and abroad at the Overseas-Trained LL.M. Student Interview Program in New York City. In cooperation with a handful of other top U.S. law schools, Yale coordinates this effort to bring together LL.M. students from around the world with employers seeking foreign legal graduates.
