YLS Career Connections
CDO and the Office of Alumni Affairs collaborate to maintain a database of more than 1,000 alumni who have agreed to provide career-related advice to current students and other alumni. YLS Career Connections is a valuable networking resource that can be searched in various ways including: name, area of expertise, employer type, and geographic location.
Guides
CDO publishes 17 guides annually which are available to current students and alumni at CDO and online. The attorney-counselors also create many brochures and handouts as part of educational programs or in response to common student questions that are available online as well.
Student and Graduate Employment Evaluations
Some of the most popular materials in CDO are the evaluations and comments collected from students about their summer employment and from alumni about their judicial clerkships. The summer employment evaluations and 2006 clerkship evaluations are available online. The clerkship comment surveys from the previous seven years are available upon request in CDO.
Print and Video Resources
CDO also maintains a sizable library of books, as well as videotapes and streaming videos of CDO’s programs, covering general career planning and specific fields of interest.
