Yale students and graduates seek employment experiences both within and outside of the legal profession: in private practice, from large firms to solo practices; in federal, state and local government; in public interest settings, and in corporations and businesses; and in non-profit organizations.
How to Register for FIP:
1. Request a schedule using our website. If you are new to interviewing at Yale, you must first register on this website and then we will contact you with your username and password.
2. Private Employers: submit to our office a $100 nonrefundable registration fee (payable to Yale Law School) Click here to view mailing address for fee. A schedule request and $100 registration fee must be submitted for each office conducting interviews separately. Public interest employers: There is no charge for interviewing at Yale.
3. Complete a NALP Form and Workplace Questionnaire either online at http://www.nalpforms.org/ or by downloading the appropriate forms for your organization type at http://www.nalp.org/content/index.php?pid=68 and mailing them to our office.
4. Complete an Interview Room Reservation Form and fax this form directly to the Courtyard by Marriott. Although public interest and government employers will not be charged for interview rooms, all employers must reserve an interview room and any overnight accommodations. (THIS STEP IS NOT NECESSARY UNTIL YOU HAVE RECEIVED CONFIRMATION OF YOUR DATE IN JUNE.)
5. If your organization does not have a website, then please send us one informational piece. Otherwise do not send us any recruitment materials.
Yale Law School assigns interview dates upon the receipt of all registration materials. We will send confirmation of interview dates in early June. We cannot guarantee that requested dates will be granted.
