Law School Day with Students from Warren Harding High School

Bridgeport High School Student Visit

On Monday, April 20th, YLW, BLSA and LLSA have organized a "law school" day for the 32 students that make up the Teen Justice Board at Warren Harding High School in Bridgeport, CT.  We will be in Room 121 from 9:00am until 12:30pm with a variety of activities planned for the students.  The agenda is posted below.  Please feel free to stop in to say hello or to sit in on some of the talks and discussions.  Most importantly, if you see the students, please say hi and make them feel welcome.  They are very excited for their visit!

9:00am:                        Arrival, Introductions

9:30-10:00am:              Talk about justice, fairness and impartiality (Prof. Drew Days)
10:00-10:30am:            Tour of YLS

10:30-11:30am:            Student panel on achievement, diversity, and other topics

11:30am-12:15pm:       Talk about due process and suspension (Prof. Tracey Meares)
12:15-12:30pm:            Leave for Court
1:00-2:00pm:                Talk with Hon. Charles Haight, SDNY judge in his chambers Church.
