Environmentalism and the Free Market: A Conversation with Former Congressman Bob Inglis
Please join the Federalist Society and YELA for our second co-sponsored event of the year. We will be hosting former Congressman Bob Inglis (R-SC) and Professor Bradford Gentry from the School of Forestry to speak about free market solutions to energy and climate change problems. Robert "Bob" Inglis is a former U.S. Representative from South Carolina. In 2008, he co-authored an op-ed in the New York Times that urged the government to levy a revenue-neutral carbon tax. He now runs the Energy & Enterprise Institute, which promotes free market solutions to environmental and energy issues. Bradford Gentry is a professor at the Forestry School and Co-Director of the Center for Business & the Environment at Yale. His work explores the opportunities for using private investment to improve environmental performance. Join us for this exciting conversation and a delicious dinner.
