The Supreme Court Advocacy Clinic professors (two leading members of the Supreme Court bar, the former head of USAO Connecticut's appellate division, and the doyenne of legal journalism) will take up to 4 students to dinner at Zinc (or a comparable restaurant) on a mutually agreeable Wednesday night.

Join 3Ls Jane Cooper, Amanda Lee, and Caitlin Miner-Le Grand in the Jazz Age for a fabulous 1920s-themed dinner party for eight, with a modern gourmet twist. Don your best pearls and bow-ties to be wined and dined in the magical Taft Penthouse with a three-course dinner. Celebrate the repeal of Prohibition with a custom-designed cocktail and other luscious libations. Menu to be designed in consultation with the chefs. Possible options include short ribs over polenta, kale and quash winter salad, and mascarpone cheesecake with balsamic strawberries.

Join fencer and fencing coach extraordinaire Jim Barnett—who fenced at Penn State, nationally, and internationally and has coached many state champions—for a night of fencing lessons and competition. Winners will go to Jim's club in Wallingford (10-15 min drive) where he will provide everything they need to fence, including a break for pizza. Can be scheduled for 6-9 p.m. or Saturday or Sunday morning. (Valued at $500).

35. Lillian Goldman Law Librarians: Trivia Throwdown with the Librarians. Winning bidder and four of their friends will get to battle it out with a team of librarians during Trivia Night at Anna Liffeys in New Haven and a chance to win the Law Library Trivia Challenge Trophy that now resides with the librarians. For two years in a row the law library trivia team has defeated their student challengers. Do you and your friends have what it takes to win the trophy? For logistical reasons trophy must reside in library but if won by students the library will take a photo of students with the trophy for bragging rights - see attached photos. Librarians will cover up to $200 (after tax and tip) of bar tab for winning bidder and their guests. Competing against the crack team at the Lillian Goldman Law Library is priceless!

36. Anonymous: Drive Around Town in Style. A day’s use of a 2007 Aston-Martin DB9 Volante, which is a 6-speed convertible featured in earlier James Bond movies. Are you filtering your subreddits? Are you bingeing on every episode of Cheers? Are you monitoring trending hashtags? This one-hour tutorial will teach you the basics on how to maximally waste your time on the Internet, with all the Flash games, longform magazine articles, and RSS feeds you could ever want.

51. Bert Ma: An afternoon of Nintendo 64, Lunchables, and Juice Boxes for up to 4. Take a trip back to middle school at Bert Ma's apartment with an action-packed afternoon of Nintendo 64 and snacks for up to 4 friends. Nintendo 64 games include: Super Smash Bros, Goldeneye, Perfect Dark, Mario Kart, Star Wars Episode 1: Pod Racer, Star Wars Rogue Squadron. If you need additional players, Bert will guarantee enough participants to fill out 4 players. You can choose your own type Lunchable as well (even though the Pepperoni Pizza is objectively the best).

52. Gilad Edelman: Guided food tour of New York's Chinatown for 3-5. Sample some of the best Chinese cuisine available without a PRC visa, and find out the real local favorites. (This will give you a great, cheap way to impress future dates.) Heavy emphasis on dumplings and noodles, with dessert at the Chinatown Ice Cream Factory and/or the Doughnut Plant, followed by drinks at a great dive bar for anyone so inclined. After all, it is a widely accepted fact that we speak a foreign language better when slightly (or muchly) under the influence. Tamar and Dana, two Spanish learners who have almost mastered the future tense, will throw you one of their wildly successful fiestas. It's often said, or at least we often say, that where you find strong scotch, you'll find strong women. So whether you prefer Bowmore over Glenmorangie, or you fancy single malts from Speyside over Campbeltown -- or maybe you know nothing whatsoever about scotch, but are excited to get a group of up to 10 friends together and taste some -- don't miss the opportunity to join the 2011-12 Executive Board of Yale Law Women for an evening of libations and lively conversation. We'll provide the scotch (with food pairings to match each selection), as well as charming & informative tasting notes that will be shared with increased gusto as the evening evolves. David Louk, Ryan McCartney, Hank Moon, and JJ Snidow are offering up a night of inter-jurisdictional whiskey tastings for a group of up to 8. We'll each select a bottle of top-shelf stuff from our respective heritages (JJ's Kentucky Bourbon, McCartney's Irish Whiskey, Louk's Scotch, and Hank's Tennessee Whiskey, 'cause, well, he visited Tennessee one time...) and host a night of tastings for the group with descriptions of the whiskeys, the production process, history of the distillery, etc. If the group is so inclined, we'll also throw a round of cigars into the mix.
