The Curious Role of the D.C. Circuit
Judge Griffith has served as the chief legal officer to the U.S. Senate during the Clinton impeachment (during which he gave legal advice to both parties), as an Assistant to the President and General Counsel of Brigham Young University, and as a partner in litigation government affairs at Wiley, Rein & Fielding in D.C. He is a summa cum laude graduate of Brigham Young and got his J.D. from U.V.A., where he was on the editorial and articles review board of the Virginia Law Review.
