Speaker Event: Dan Esty
Join YELA for a discussion with environmental law professor Dan Esty. Professor Esty will talk and answer questions on careers in environmental law, his work on President-Elect Obama's advising and transition teams (read more in the Yale Daily at http://www.yaledailynews.com/articles/view/26405), U.S. environmental policy, and more. Dinner will be served.
Professor Esty is appointed at both YLS and the School of Forestry and Environmental Studies; he is the director of the Yale Center for Environmental Law & Policy and co-author of Green to Gold: How Smart Companies Use Environmental Strategy to Innovate, Create Value, and Build Competetive Advantage. Prior to coming to Yale, he was a Senior Fellow at the Institute for International Economics and served in a variety of senior positions at the EPA from 1989 to 1993.
