Women in the Law: Where Are We, Where Are We Going, How Do We Get There?

Margaret Enloeis, Associate General Counsel of PricewaterhouseCoopers where she has worked for the past 23 years representing the Firm on a wide variety of legal matters. Her primary focus is the defense of the Firm in litigations and government investigations. Margaret became a partner in 1991. Prior to joining PwC, she was a litigation associate in the New York office of Skadden, Arps where she focused on hostile takeover work and general commercial litigation.
Paula Hintonis, a partner in Vinson & Elkins’ litigation and international arbitration sections. Her practice focuses on complex commercial litigation and class actions. Ms. Hinton received her BA, MPA, and JD from the University of Alabama. She also, as a Rotary Fellow, studied international comparative law at the Universidad de Sevilla from 1980-1981. Ms. Hinton is a member of the American Law Institute and serves on the executive committee of the ABA’s Women Advocate. She also chairs the Texas Supreme Court’s Gender Bias Task Force. Ms. Hinton currently serves as the Houston Office Liaison for V&E’s Women’s Initiative.
