OutLaws cordially invites Yale Law School alumni to attend the third OutLaws Alumni Banquet honoring Pamela S. Karlan '84, one of Yale's most distinguished LGBT alumnae, for her career in academia, public interest lawyering, and government. Professor Karlan is currently serving as Deputy Assistant Attorney General in the Civil Rights Division of the USDOJ and is a co-founder of Stanford Law School's Supreme Court Litigation Clinic. She is a leading scholar on constitutional law and democracy and has also served as assistant counsel for the NAACP Legal Defense Fund and commissioner of the California Fair Political Practices Commission.
The banquet will take place on Thursday, October 23, 2014 at 6pm at the Omni Hotel in New Haven. The evening promises to be a wonderful opportunity for alumni and current students to socialize, build connections, and acknowledge the contributions of an extraordinary scholar, advocate, and public servant.
