Fall Retreat
Each year, the Yale Law Christian Fellowship sponsors a retreat over a long weekend during the fall. Thanks to the generosity of one of our alumna and her family as well as the support of the Christian Union, each of the past three years we've been able to put on this retreat in Cooperstown, NY. As the photo gallery demonstrates, this is one of the most beautiful places in upstate New York and a remarkable backdrop for building community within the fellowship.

Other annual YLCF events include a kickoff barbeque at the beginning of the year and a Christmas party. We also periodically host speaker events. Past speakers include:
•Eric Metaxas, #1 New York Times best-selling biographer of William Wilberforce and Dietrich Bonhoeffer: “God and Government: The Role of Faith in Opposing Injustice”
•John Lennox, Oxford Professor of Mathematics and the Philosophy of Science: “Is Anything Worth Believing In? A Yale Philosopher Questions an Oxford Scholar on Reason, Faith, and the Nature of Evidence.”
•Hon. William H. Pryor, Jr., 11th Circuit Judge: “Moral Duty & the Rule of Law”
•Professor John Warwick Montgomery, legal philosophy professor, apologetics scholar, lawyer, and author of History, Law, and Christianity: “Where Do Rights Come From: A Christian Case for Human Rights”
•Holly Burkhalter, International Justice Mission: “Making Public Justice Systems Work for the Poor”
•Former Congressman Tony Hall: “Changing the Face of Hunger”
•Rev. Richard Cizik, National Association of Evangelicals: “Green God: Evangelicals and the Environment”
