Join ACS and YLDems for a conversation with Bharat Ramamurti '07, who served as deputy director of the National Economic Council in the Biden White House and as the deputy economic policy director on Elizabeth Warren's presidential campaign. Ramamurti led the Biden Administration's work on manufacturing, innovation, and domestic competitiveness from 2021 to 2023. He previously served as a member of the COVID-19 Congressional Oversight Commission, where he helped oversee the Treasury Department's and the Federal Reserve Board's management of the CARES Act stimulus and loan programs.
In this moderated event, Ramamurti will be talking about student loan debt cancellation, the federal COVID response, and American industrial policy.
