Guillermo Aguilar-Alvarez is a Visiting Lecturer in Law at Yale Law School. He is a Partner at King & Spalding LLP in New York City where he specializes in International Commercial and Investment Arbitration. Mr. Aguilar-Alvarez also served as Counsel and General Counsel of the ICC International Court of Arbitration and was subsequently principal legal counsel for the government of Mexico for the negotiation and implementation of the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA). He earned his law degree (with honors) from the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México in 1983.
