Amnart Tangkiriphimarn

Amnart Tangkiriphimarn is a J.S.D. candidate at Yale Law School. He has been a law lecturer at the Faculty of Law of Thammasat University in Thailand since 2010. Before coming to Yale, where he earned his LL.M. degree in 2013, Amnart obtained his LL.B. degree, First Class Honors, from Thammasat University in 2009, and passed the Thai Bar examination in 2010. He received a full scholarship from the Royal Thai Government to pursue his LL.M. and J.S.D. degrees.

At Thammasat University, Amnart has taught several law courses in the LL.B. degree program, including torts, business organizations, and secured transactions. In 2012, he and his colleagues successfully edited a Thai classic tort law manuscript authored by one of the most respected scholars. Amnart’s areas of interest include public international law, international economic law, and business law. His J.S.D. dissertation is on indirect expropriation in contemporary international investment law.
