Craig Becker

Craig Becker is a Irving S. Ribicoff Visiting Lecturer in Law at Yale Law School, and is currently the General Counsel of the AFL-CIO. He has represented numerous labor unions as outside counsel and in-house, and has also taught at UCLA, the University of Chicago, Georgetown, and Yale.  Becker was a member of the Obama transition team in 2009. He later served on President Obama’s National Labor Relations Board. He has published numerous articles on labor and employment law in scholarly journals as well as in the popular press and has argued labor and employment cases in virtually every federal court of appeals and before the United States Supreme Court.  Becker holds his B.A. and his J.D. from Yale.
