Diane "Cookie" Polan ’80 Honored by CT Criminal Defense Lawyers Association

Diane "Cookie" Polan ’80 received the 2016 Champion of Liberty Award from the Connecticut Criminal Defense Lawyers Association. Polan, a New Haven resident since she arrived for college in 1969, was a member of the first Yale class to include women. She went on to Yale Law School, graduating in 1980. “She has a national reputation and is known as a tenacious, fierce, dynamic feminist criminal defense lawyer in both state and federal courts,” the CCDLA said.
